The Original AA BBQ.

Another tedious workday has passed and we were truly looking for something that will change the day's mood. Good thing and a Korean friend thought of having a dinner with us at some Filipino restaurant. Since we were already tired and we didn't want to go far, we ended up choosing one of the best barbeque houses in town: "THE ORIGINAL AA BBQ." It was not the first time for us to go there but they really offer something that keeps us coming back for more. However, it was the first time for our Korean friend to visit such restaurant. Will our taste be passable to hers? Got to find out. ^^
What's good in AA BBQ is that they offer palatable dishes in affordable prices. This is swak* for Pinoys* and really swak for us. The place is not that exquisite but it is clean which makes it a good dining place. I like their indigenous furniture. It simply shows the simplicity, creativity and uniqueness of Filipino craftsmanship.
I wasn't able to interact with their staff because I was really tired and I just waited for the order made by my friend. However, the waiter who served us at that time was not really that amiable (bad day for him? I simply don't know.), I didn't even see him smile. :(
We went there at around 5 in the afternoon, there were still few people during that time but at the moment we finished our dinner, that was about 7 in the evening, it was already packed with hungry diners. So, better be there at an early time if you don't want to find yourself stuck in such situation.
So, here's what we order:
Unfortunately, I haven't got a picture of their Shrimplex which costs PHP 180.00. That was the best dish for us.
We only paid PHP 930.00 for a dinner like that. Not bad. We were satisfied. How about for the foreign here? Let us go back to the question I posed in the first paragraph. According to our friend, the taste is quite similar to their own dishes in Korea so it's not really new to her. She was satisfied with the taste of the foods.
As being part of the workforce, stress, eustress or distress, will always be our partners in life. The key is to know how to deal with it. Most of us may consider food as one of the best stress relievers. Go out and seek foods which are "A, B, C". Affordable, Best and Clean.
