Bucket Shrimps Lahug

"True friendship is not being inseparable, it's being separated and nothing changes."

An average person may physically meet upwards of 80,000 people in a lifetime. That's a big number, isn't it? But among those people, how many do you personally talk to? How many of them are your acquaintances? How many of them can you consider as your friends? How about as your close friends? How many made an impact on your life? Well, that's how we narrow down the statistics. People come and go but it's for you to decide who will stay in your life. After all, it's not about how many friends you can count, it's about how many friends you can count on. :)

As for us, we reunited with a friend who we think we can count on (Joanne, don't let us down... LOL). We decided to dine in the new resto on the block, Bucket Shrimps. They are humbly situated near Metro Sport, Salinas Drive, Lahug. They also have their other branch located in Orchid St., Capitol Site.

The Place.
They are open from 8am - 12am.
That jeep adds highlight to the place's simplicity.
Freedom Wall!
Do you love sucking heads? ^^ We certainly do.

The Menu.
Witty dish names.
 Our Order.
Boiled Shrimp in Cajun Sauce
The sauce is a bit sweet, garlicky and spicy. We really loved it! It has an ample serving which is good for 3-4 people.
Liempo Loco
It has the combination of sweet and salty flavors. For a dish priced at PHP 200.00, the serving is quite smaller than we expected.
The bucket of rice is good for 5-7 people. Don't get fooled by that picture, we got an additional bucket. -_-

Our Bucket Love'n Moments. ♥

Eat the cowboy way. We had these serviettes made of manila paper with their staff's personal touch. I ♥ Bucket Shrimps. You also get to eat with your hands, a Filipino practice. They have plastic gloves though.

#GROUFIE !!!
That's what you get when you suck heads!!! ^^

I highly recommend Bucket Shrimps for spending time with your family and friends. Since there were only a few diners on that day, we got to stay for around three hours. They also played some discotheque music. Party while eating, eh? Not bad, you'll never feel sleepy nor bored. They also have pretty awesome staff slash dancers. Kidding aside, their staff are really kind and very accommodating. Thumbs up! The place may just be simple but what's more important is the satisfaction their dishes give to its diners. One thing, it is an open-air restaurant. It was very cold especially because of the northeast monsoon affecting our country. The cold never bothered us anyway. I'm more than willing to go back and try more of what they offer. :)

Till next post, lovies. Ciao!
