"Make sure to always surround yourself with happy people. Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you."
When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, 'tis near Halloween. Brace yourselves and start counting the days as we are nearing the arrival of the spooky and creepy trick-or-treaters. Woohoohooo~
Let the chills start running through your bones at Tomo Cafe! Tomo Cafe is not one haunted cafe, it just starts to blend in with the season. Tomo Cafe is a maid and butler cafe located at Nasipit, Talamban. It is right beside Nasipit Commercial Plaza, minutes away from USC-TC and Family Park. This place has been well-embraced by otakus, cosplay enthusiasts, kawaii lovers, gamers, people who love the Japanese culture and those who just want to dine and relax.

Do you know what's scarier than ghosts peeking from different corners? It's when one day you wake up and realize that you don't have real friends with you. Tomo, short for tomodachi, which means "friend" in English. Give justice to the cafe's name by spending a wonderful time with your friends.
A pose with Meredith. (We named it after Taylor's cat. teehee) |
Meet my friends (L to R): CF, Aubrie, yours truly, Ryo, Chai & Karma :x |
Life is fun. Keep it wacky! ^^ |
Stack it. Crash it. JENGA! |
We really enjoyed this Jenga game with a twist. The one who crashes the stack will pick a question card and answer it. |

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! |
A time spent with friends is a time well-spent. We really had a good time here in Tomo Cafe. The cafe is elevated and surrounded by lush trees so you will still feel the relaxation nature has to offer even though you are just in the city. The best thing is the coziness the place provides to its diners. Actually, I never felt that I was a customer; I felt that I was a guest. The feeling is the same when you pay a visit to one of your closest friends. The foods and drinks that we tried were also excellent. The staff were also kind and accommodating. This is definitely a place that we would like to visit again. And maybe next time, we could also try the barbecue joint below the cafe (located in the same compound).
Till next post, lovies. Ciao!
