"Good Food. Good Company."

Another restaurant has opened its doors and is now ready to engage in the growing food industry in Cebu. Thanks to my dear friend, we were able to take part in the official launch of Brique. Maybe, you are also curious as to why they chose this name. I was too. As what I have read on their page, they view each task as individual bricks working together to give you an experience that is as solidly built as any wall. With that, they assure every customer to have a good dining experience from the moment they enter their doors to the moment they step out again. Details, even the smallest ones, are given importance. So, does it make sense? Yes? Yea. Cool name, well thought.

The Location.
Located along Salinas Drive, Lahug (beside Chikaan).
Operating Hours: Mon - Fri: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Sat - Sun: 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM.

The Place.
The combination of wood, concrete, steel and glass gives the place a rustic feel with a modern touch.
It's simple but I think it's classier. The chairs are a plus, plus. They have comfy couches on the 2nd floor, definitely a good place for lounging around after having a hearty meal.

With my ever talented model^^

This is where they show off their wines.
That ladder will take you to the 2nd floor. Seriously? Nah, just kidding.^^

The Menu.
They have a wide selection of dishes and beverages. For the complete menu, please click HERE.

Our Order.

DCC @ PHP 190
Don't Count your Calories on this Ube cake with all the goodness of Halo-Halo.

A new way to enjoy one of Filipino's favorites, Halo-Halo.
Playful name, isn't it? Gaaaahddd. I'm still counting my calories.

Lechon Belly Sandwich @ PHP 195
Lechon belly with Caesar dressing on a Kaiser roll. Served with potato chips.

A healthier way to have Lechon. Maybe, it was really intended to be healthy that's why it was a bit bland and kinda dry. I wouldn't have enjoyed it without the ketchup. Sarsa, puhlease? :) No worries with the meat though, it was tender.

Carbonara @ PHP 120
Bacon, mushroom and grated Parmesan in a rich cream sauce.

Creeaaamyyy.

Italian Sausage & Mushroom @ PHP 230
Homemade Italian Sausage with mushrooms in truffle-infused cream sauce.

This was the best for us. The Italian Sausage gave a distinct flavor to the dish.
Aaannd, it was on them. ^^

They had this promotional offer "Pay with a Post" on their launching day wherein diners will post a photo of their orders on FB or Instagram with the hashtag #BriqueMenu and the most expensive dish you ordered will be on the house. Well, well, well. Should have known earlier. Still, we had a good time and we went home with happy and heavy stomachs, as heavy as bricks. :) Thank you BMK for that wonderful treat and looking forward to another relaxing chow moment in your place.
