Zoet Cakes and Pastries

Yes, it's February! And I don't have a lot of thoughts about this! HAHA. I'm not being bitter or whatever; it's just that many people make so much fuss about this month. The love month. The single awareness month. The independence month. And many more...but to make things simple, let's just say it's the second month of the year. (grin)
Okay. I'm not going to burst your bubble. I can't really pretend not to notice the noticeable. I see red. I smell the sweetness in the air. I feel the love. That's the magic of this month. Isn't it amazing? Cupid must be really working his backside off just to make these happen. And for those who are still loveless at the moment, don't worry guys! I love you more than you ever know ♥ hihee. On a serious note, I just want to remind you that you are greatly loved maybe not as a romantic love but with a love way better than that. You know what I mean.
To make things sweeter, it would also be good to gratify the needs of your sweet tooth. Yayy! (Guess love month is not that bad after all! haha) My friends and I had a pre-Valentine celebration at Zoet. Zoet is a cupcake shop located at Don Mariano Cui St. Capitol Site, same street as where the Gran Tierra Suites is situated. It is between Souspeak and Hamersons Hotel. Make your life sweeter at these times: Weekdays 10am-9pm ; Weekends 10am-10pm.

| Don Mariano Cui St., is a dim and quiet place so entering this cupcake shop is like finding a piece of heaven in the middle of nowhere. And I was like, wooowww! The cuteness and the color combination is not overly exaggerated and I like how neat the place is. They don't have a wi-fi connection so I can consider this as a perfect comfort place. Just me and my sweets. awww. |

| I prefer the blueberry flavor to the strawberry one. The strawberry puree is too sweet for me. The cheesecake itself is absolutely perfect for me. It's not that sweet and has that melt-in-your-mouth texture which is well complemented by the cracker crust. |

It was definitely a cheesy night to remember (pun intended). Special thanks to Master Ryo for recommending this place to us. He also said that the mango cheesecake is good, better try that next time. This is really a place where you can get rid of those unwanted stresses in your life, feel relaxed and get a good dose of sweets. If you don't have plans for the upcoming Valentine's Day, loveless or in love, then this might be the place for you.
