Hello June! And this means the start of the wet season in the Philippines. In fact, we are already experiencing scattered rain showers especially at night or in the early morning. If you are now in PH then you'd better brace yourselves and prepare all your rain gears before the wet season peaks in July. Meanwhile, most of the people here are still enjoying the kindness of Mr. Sun as he continues to flaunt his bright rays before summer will be officially over.
So before the rainy season enters and before the kids start to get busy with their studies, my family decided to have a last minute summercation. This also served as a double birthday bash for the two cute kiddos, Janeen and CJ. Since this is a quick day trip, we ended up choosing Villa Teresita Resort & Hotel: Resort by the City.
Villa Teresita is located in Biasong, Talisay City, Cebu. The most convenient way to go there is by private vehicles or by taxi cabs since it's a bit far from the highway. If you take the public transportation (i.e. jeepney, bus, V-hire) from Cebu City, you need to look out for the signage or better ask the driver to drop you at the street going to Villa Teresita. From there, hail a tricycle to take you to the resort.
The Location.
As you see in the picture below, parking space is not a problem.
Rates and Guidelines.
The rates of their long span cottages starts from PHP 300.00 to PHP 600.00
The cottage shown in the picture below is good for 8 persons at PHP 300.00.

The cottages at the left side are good for 25 persons at PHP 600.00
They also have a variety of amenities and services such as restaurants, function rooms, 24-hour room service, videoke, disco (Saturday only), billiard, laundry & pressing service, catering service for all occasions, and package tour accommodations.
Filipinos are naturally music lovers. You can never go wrong with these videoke machines.
Not just one or two, but there are still many videoke machines in other areas of the resort.
They also have snack bars and a convenient store near the lobby in case you get hungry or the food that you bring with you is not enough.
Pool 1 and 2.
Two swimming pools for children (3ft.).
Adults will also enjoy swimming in 6ft.-8ft. pools.
Seaside Pool.
For non-swimmers (like me T.T), seaside pool is the best choice for you.
Enjoy the pristine waters of the 4 ft. pool.

We are not a perfect family. We quarrel over petty things. We have a lot of misunderstandings. I guess that's normal. However, what's important is we know by heart that at the end of the day, we still have one another. ♥
Looking for a quick getaway without worrying about your pockets? Then, this place is definitely a good pick. You can already enjoy dipping in the crystal clear waters, try the different amenities or just take a breather by enjoying the scenery. It may not be as vast or as grandiose as other resorts but what will make the place more special is how you spend your time here together with the special people in your life.
